My feelings about Jasper Hale and why he is the Cullen who appeals to me:
Because Edward's appeal is written all over the pages of all 4 books, but Jasper's is hidden in the lines between. He's beautiful, but he's flawed, and he represents the edge of violence, as well as the glass wall between charm and chaos.
Then of course there's the pain. Jasper is a man who has experienced pain on a very deep level. It is in our psyche to want to help heal his wounds.
I love Jasper most out of the Cullen men, because he's the one who isn't the golden boy. He isn't the one the rest would turn to first, but only as a last resort. He's the one that everyone cares for though, and he's the one who has my loyalty. Edward's everything that is dreamed of, Jasper is everything that is known. That is why I love him.
